Compared to winter tyres, the rubber mixture of the summer tyres is harder, even in high temperatures. Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

These tyres were absolutely poor on my BMW. The car felt like alignment was off and the car had no stability, going above 60mph was a very scary experience. I removed them and put back my old continentals with 1mm tread and tested because people claimed my alignment was off, but no, it was these tyres they are terrible - nankang ns20. I removed and sold and bought a pair of pirelli p zero

Fitted to a 140bhp front whee drive car. Taking into account these are a budget tyre, grip in the dry is good and spirited driving can be accommodated safely. Tyre in the wet is good but no tyre is safe on the limit in the wet. Because of my low mileage I cannot comment on the rate of wear but must be realistic, after all it is a budget product.

I was sceptical about the quality of these Nankang tyres, when I bought them I was influenced by the price, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the grip level both in the dry and wet. I like to drive quickly but not dangerously and I have felt when the tyres have been close to their limit, which is a big plus point. My only complaint would be they do tend to follow tracks in the road, but they are quite wide.

I have been driving since May 1964 in UK and on the Continent and New Zealand. I consider myself a considerate road user, conscious of other vehicles and their placement on the road. I try to drive as safely and frugally as possible, although I do let my hair down (if I had enough!) when driving my MGTF135 Sports Car on clear roads. I will use the Volvo&#39;s power and acceleration when it is necessary to do so, so reducing any exposure to danger- but that does reduce the mpg factor! I have used Bravuris tyres since I bought the car in 2014 and found them excellent value for money.

Damn right dangerous... had these put on less than 6 months ago, and if you drive in a slightly spirited manner the lack of grip is phenomenal. 30mph bends leave you requiring replacement underwear. And it just gets worse in the wet. Braking distances are terrible in both wet and dry, but they are comfy for 45&#39;s. These are a drift tyre in my opinion, cheap and grip less. I only have 150bhp apread across all four wheels and they still slide, I wouldn&#39;t recommend them on anything with more than 100 ponies. And if its slightly moist or greasy out, you better be good at throttle control and counter steering... at low speeds they are perfectly acceptable, but if you like to put your foot down abit I&#39;d spend some more money, we don&#39;t scrimp on safety.

Because they&#39;re NOT asymmetric you can swap them across rims to share out inner shoulder wear and extract a lot more useful mileage. That&#39;s a rarity these days, and together with no major weaknesses it makes these tyres a great option.

I changed from ditch finders to these so is a great improvement but these saved my family&#39;s life&#39;s literally my brakes failed and tyres kept us on the rd when needed apart from that they take the bumps in the rd ok amazing grip in the wet . I can&#39;t really comment on wear as it&#39;s too early. Recommended

These tyres are good value and perform safely and well when used within legal parameters on UK roads. One slight negative is road surfaces can sometimes make tyre noise quite high but other than that I will definitely buy them again.

The tyres were 7/10 when I got them, the wet straight line grip is great the dry performance is above average. Quiet and comfortable tyres. The tyre wear is poor, I had new arms,tie rods, drop links and bushings as well as alignment done afterwards. The tyres showed excessive wear on the edge after only 8000 miles. I always check tyre pressure every week.

Our other car is a kuga and if I was reviewing it on that it would be a differant review however given the car has over 300lb/ft of torque these aren&#39;t the tyres you want on the rears (they were on the car when I bought it). In the wet the traction control light is a permenant fixture if I get spirited and corners can be challenging if taken with some gusto so in short on a focus or an Astra fine but something with a bit of oomph I would pass on them and spend a bit more. You&#39;ll only end up taking them off

Tyres had side sway when changing lanes. 1st blowout on 20000 2nd blowout on 30000 and at 40000 last remaining Tyres has wall cracks in inside walls of rear Tyres. Definitely a tyre manufacturer problem. Dealer and supplier is saying I overloaded the tyre and drove on flat tyres. The remaining two tyres are available for evaluation.
