What tyre size do you require?
The exact size of a tyre can be found on its sidewall.
The following chart shows you how to read a tyre size.
1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

The tyre was professionally fitted and would not seat on the bead correctly, and deflated whilst I wax riding it home. The garage that fitted the tyre could not stop it leaking when fitted I had to buy an alternative tyre. Very very disappointed

Front tyre tested. Tyre performs well on dry road and dry gravel trails. Performs ok on wet roads under steering and breaking .A lot better in this regards than the K60 I had on the front before. Tyre is not great on wet grass and slides easily and with little warning. The Tourance is hopeless under any form of mud and wet rock. I would consider this tyre a 90 on road 10 Off road tyre.

Good tyre although the design is getting a bit old and there are newer models. Good dry and average wet grip. Average performance on gravel &amp; shale. Its not a full off-road tyre. It is possible to fit the tubed version yourself with tyre levers although the sidewalls are very stiff.

This is a very comfortable tyre, I&#39;ve found that Continental tyres give a very cushioned ride and are very quiet. Wet grip seems good, and I can lean right over without a problem. They don&#39;t wear any quicker than anything else, all scooter tyres wear pretty quickly anyway. I&#39;ll buy the same again, only downside is that it was a tight fit on the rim, but the bead popped on without much of a problem L.

I&#39;m driving on city, countryside and highway. Going over 80km/h they&#39;re becoming noisy. On sport driving they have a good grip, you feel safe. When they are cold and you push them to the limit you can feel a little bit of nervous, but when they warm up they grip well. At white stripes they are slippery. At wet roads I&#39;m driving slow, im not push them. The DOT code is 3523.

I push these tyres to the limit, confidently grind the centre stand on dry roads. Great confidence and feel from these tyres. I ride very gently in the damp and wet, but am sure you could push them harder than I do in these conditions

I have been impressed. They look offroad&#39;ish and to be honest haven&#39;t had a chance to test them off road, but, have worked fabulously well through the winter on wet slippy roads and now its drying out I am discovering their dry grip is excellent. They ride like a road tyre.

Excellent tire for both on and off road. My last tire was the aggressive Hidenau K60, which is great off road and miserable on road. This tire was a super comprise.

Great tyres both on and off road. Never been able to lock the front wheel on tarmac and only lock the front on dirt on purpose. Use a different tyre on the rear of my bike but its a really great front tyre.
