Long distance motorway driving mainly. No excessive speed, braking or other maneuvering. Little recent experience of real winter conditions.
30.03.2020 from Daniel
Perfect tyres for this country, I am not worrying about winters and raining summer, tyres working superb all season. Quiet and comfortable
18.01.2019 from Maz
Initially not that impressed but after an adjustment period/ bedding in found the tyre to be very consistent in almost all conditions. Only slightly let down in tight roundabout wet conditions (has a tendency to go into very slight understeer) but not always. Tyre performance seems very sensitive to maintaining the correct/ recommended tyre pressures. In recent days the temperature has dropped to just about freezing where these tyres have really started to show their winter biased abilities. Great grip and response ind dry and cold wet conditions. One worthy point to add to potential purchasers is that I thought I had purchased the "seal inside" version but had not. This stock of old and new by tyre suppliers is frustrating. Other than that I would recommend the tyre for the sensible non sporty driver.

Feels solid and well placed on road, grip good no snow yet to assess but good in wet.
01.06.2022 from RJ and T
Initially nervous about changing brand from the fitted ones but needn't have worried. As with other cars we have used these on it is a huge improvement and we would buy the same again.
27.03.2021 from Michael Chapman
Probably the best tyres I have used. Comfortable and safe handling in all weather conditions here in Scotland hot summer, wet semi flooded and deep snow during the time owned. The best feature of these tyres on my vehicle is the feeling of safety and confidence with the Crossclimate + fitted
20.03.2021 from Kevin Bates
I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.

18.12.2023 from Jeremy Spillane
I can’t yet comment on grip in snow and ice, as I haven’t yet driven it in those conditions, although I did buy these tyres to be able to drive in any conditions, all year round. These tyres are only on the front of the car, as these were the only All Season tyres of the correct size for the front of this car. The rear tyres are a larger size, and I have a different make of All Season tyres on the back. The car drive’s perfectly with the tyres I have fitted, and it feels very grippy, and quiet, under all conditions. I am very impressed with these tyres and I’m confident they will be excellent in snowy and icy conditions as well. It is too early to cont on wear and MPG, but that is not an issue for me.
25.08.2023 from Malcolm Ash
Excellent tyres, have used these tyres on many types of vehicles over the years and they have performed superbly. They are my go to tyre.
01.06.2022 from Marky L
Whilst the grip is good in snow, these tyres really struggle to get the torque down to the road from the the 1.4 Hybrid 215PS during acceleration when the surface is wet OR dry. It's particularly bad in the wet, where the wheels spin easily. Even on the electric motor drive only, a dab of the throttle to over 80% power sets the wheels spinning at low speed. The Michelin Pilot's that were fitted as standard have much better grip on the wet roads than the Nexen. Therefore I wouldn't class the Nexen as "all season". It should really be classed as a winter tyre only. I wouldn't like to run these tyres all year round due to the inferior grip in most conditions (except snow of course). I wouldn't buy this brand if I wanted an all-weather tyre again. I'd purchase a proper winter tyre and swap around in the seasons as I've had to do with these anyway!
04.06.2020 from Raf
Overall good tyres. Slightly noisy but not to extend. This is what you would get from all-weather tyre - bit of all. Not most economical on fuel consumption again this is all-weather tyre which is not as good Michelin Cross climate but good for its price.

Better all around than the tyres supplied with the car
05.01.2024 from Nick Ibrahim
I drive mostly in the city at low speeds however when taking to motorways in the UK I drive at 70MPH and in Europe at 75MPH. The drive is smooth and fuel economy is excellent, tyre wear is good and noise levels within the car is minimal.

Excellent safe and fun. You need to give warning when it won’t arrive for weeks before the customer pays though. I was stuck without something suitable. It’s not acceptable.

Why Switch to All-Weather Tyres

Why Switch to All-Weather Tyres

Advantages of fitting all-season tyres to the wheels of your vehicle are numerous. Of course, what sets them apart from dedicated summer and winter tyres is their ability to perform well in all kinds of road conditions. Regardless of the season, the all-weather tyres deliver a safe and comfortable ride. If you add lower costs and longer tread life to the mix, it is clear why an increasing number of drivers are considering switching to all-round tyres. Thanks to technological innovations and new rubber compounds, high-quality all-rounders combine characteristics of both summer and winter tyres in a way that makes them quite an appealing option. That is particularly the case in regions with mild winters spared of heavy snow flurries that would require extra safety measures in the form of specialized winter tyres.

The Debica all-season tyres are certainly a noteworthy option available in our offer. The leading Polish tyre manufacturer has been part of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company concern since 1995. This highly-esteemed company today sells its products in 60 countries on 6 continents, including the largest world markets. Applying state-of-the-art technology in tyre manufacturing, Debica is becoming an increasingly competitive brand when it comes to global rubber industry.

Year-Round Tyres Produced by Debica

The Navigator 2 is an excellent representative of Debica’s high standards in manufacturing all-weather tyres. This popular tyre benefits from a special silica-based rubber compound that enables it to perform well in all weather and road conditions. It also boasts a reduced risk of aquaplaning thanks to wide circumferential and lateral grooves that are efficient in water dispersing. The tyre’s reinforced construction ensures high mileage, thus making the Navigator 2 a highly economical tyre.

Another great model available from the Debica all-season tyres range is the DRS. This versatile tyre delivers an impressively high mileage and even wear thanks to its robust rib pattern. It also features zig-zag elements in an optimized pitch arrangement that result in significantly reduced noise levels. The Debica DRS provides great durability in harsh conditions, mostly due to its sturdy casing design.

These examples are only a tiny fraction of our offer of tyres available at Autopink-shop.ie. Our online store contains a vast array of tyres for vehicles ranging from compact city cars to performance cars and heavy-duty trucks. We stand for reliable and expedient service as well as high customer satisfaction.
