I can’t yet comment on grip in snow and ice, as I haven’t yet driven it in those conditions, although I did buy these tyres to be able to drive in any conditions, all year round. These tyres are only on the front of the car, as these were the only All Season tyres of the correct size for the front of this car. The rear tyres are a larger size, and I have a different make of All Season tyres on the back. The car drive’s perfectly with the tyres I have fitted, and it feels very grippy, and quiet, under all conditions. I am very impressed with these tyres and I’m confident they will be excellent in snowy and icy conditions as well. It is too early to cont on wear and MPG, but that is not an issue for me.
25.08.2023 from Malcolm Ash
Excellent tyres, have used these tyres on many types of vehicles over the years and they have performed superbly. They are my go to tyre.
01.06.2022 from Marky L
Whilst the grip is good in snow, these tyres really struggle to get the torque down to the road from the the 1.4 Hybrid 215PS during acceleration when the surface is wet OR dry. It's particularly bad in the wet, where the wheels spin easily. Even on the electric motor drive only, a dab of the throttle to over 80% power sets the wheels spinning at low speed. The Michelin Pilot's that were fitted as standard have much better grip on the wet roads than the Nexen. Therefore I wouldn't class the Nexen as "all season". It should really be classed as a winter tyre only. I wouldn't like to run these tyres all year round due to the inferior grip in most conditions (except snow of course). I wouldn't buy this brand if I wanted an all-weather tyre again. I'd purchase a proper winter tyre and swap around in the seasons as I've had to do with these anyway!
04.06.2020 from Raf
Overall good tyres. Slightly noisy but not to extend. This is what you would get from all-weather tyre - bit of all. Not most economical on fuel consumption again this is all-weather tyre which is not as good Michelin Cross climate but good for its price.

The first thing I do when I purchase a new vehicle is buy a new set of all-weather tyres...and the Goodyear Vectors are just the best for my car
11.10.2018 from T Braithwaite
These tyres being all weather tyres seemed a very good idea to purchase with all the bad weather we had been having, unfortunately we have found that not to be the case. We have had the car from 10,000 miles it now reads 116,000 miles without any punctures at all with summer tyres, the last 7000 miles and especially the last 6 months of having these tyres on the car we have suffered with 2 punctures both of which were irreparable resulting in having to buy two new tyres. We feel the rubber is too soft and easily fractured resulting in punctures.

I've done around 8500 miles so far in mostly poor weather , very good grip in all winter conditions and mild conditions. Good all rounder.
28.05.2024 from Marcis
Good grip on wet and dry roads. Reasonable grip on snow and icy roads. Noisy on dry roads. Fuel consumption has increased. All in all decent tyres.
07.04.2024 from Harry
Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don't purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

All-Weather Tyres from a Reputable Manufacturer

All-Weather Tyres from a Reputable Manufacturer

Switching to all-season tyres makes a lot of sense, especially if you happen to be an average driver. It is actually the most sensible decision for people living in countries with moderate snow precipitation during winter months, such as the UK. Compared to summer tyres, they offer two or three times longer tread wear as well as a considerably quieter ride. All-round tyres are usually less costly, while saving the driver of the trouble of swapping summer tyres for snow tyres before wintertime. The Uniroyal all-season tyres have been praised for delivering smooth, safe, and comfortable ride in all weathers. So, expect them to perform well in all road conditions, including dry, wet, snowy, and slushy.

As for the brand itself, Uniroyal is one of very few companies in the rubber industry with origins tracing as far back as the late 19th century. Founded in Connecticut in 1892 as the United States Rubber Company, this prominent tyre manufacturer has grown over the years to become a well-respected name in the rubber business. Today operating under the Continental umbrella, Uniroyal offers a wide range of tyres throughout the European continent and other global markets.

The Latest Technological Innovations

The AllSeasonExpert 2 is a newcomer to Uniroyal’s range of all-weather tyres. The new model boasts impressive safety and reliability all year round. When it comes to protection against aquaplaning, it can hardly be matched by any of its competitors. The tyre benefits greatly from Uniroyal’s sharkskin technology and optimized tread pattern that contribute to enhanced water drainage. The AllSeasonExpert 2 also delivers short stopping distances as well as improved traction in snowy conditions.

Of course, the range of the Uniroyal all-season tyres includes other tried and tested models. One of them is the AllSeasonMax which delivers excellent comfort and durability regardless of weather conditions. This great tyre offers impressive directional stability and safe cornering in road conditions ranging from dry to wet and snowy. One of its strong points is a reduced risk of aquaplaning thanks to the tyre’s tread pattern with long lateral sipes that facilitates traction on wet roads. What makes the AllSeasonMax great at water expulsion are wide grooves on the shoulders that maximize water drainage.

In case you value professional service and speedy delivery, order your new set of tyres at Autopink-shop.co.ie. The Uniroyal all-season tyres are just a small part of our rich offer. In our stock you can find summer, winter, and all-season tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, mini vans, sports cars, commercial vehicles, etc. Your satisfaction is our main goal.
