Comment:
Go-anywhere grip when tried on untreated, hilly country roads in the little snow we had, but really bought for miserable wet, winter weather and better braking ability. These tyres are excellent, give confident traction on fast but soaked, winding roads to sharp - and often greasy - corners at low speeds. Very noticeable compared to using summer tyres in the same conditions - no more sliding. Also far more comfortable on Britain's pot-holed roads / speed bumps when compared to the standard summer 17" low-profile tyres, though I guess that's down to the extra tyre wall rather than neccessarily the make. Tyres still on the car in May due to the cold weather - 11C and raining at time of writing - so at this rate may not bother to change them back. Tyre wear as expected for a soft compound - worn 2mm on rear tyres and 3mm on front tyres over 10,500km. Haven't noticed any difference in braking in the dry. Slightly more roll around fast corners in the dry / warmish weather than low-profile tyres but nothing to get excited about. Would definitely buy again, in this size, these cost me around £52 a tyre. Winter tyre acknowledged benefits apart, these are also a third of the cost of my summer tyres so the economics stack up as well.

Took 50km or so to run in, but thereafter provided good all round performance in Uk winter conditions, although wear rate not so good as previous tyres
