I live in UK and at least once a year I drive across Europe especially for Christmas. So I needed a tyres which are M+S certified so I can legally drive during that time especially throughout Germany and those tyres offer that as well. But there is more. These are great in rain, deep water, mudd and this year had a chcance to test them on snow! Where I live we have a several high steep hills (11-20%) where most of the cars (even 4x4's) couldn't get up, while I could without much of a hustle! People where literally stopping me to ask if my car is 4x4 as they where surprised as we got up without spinning weels. I didn't noticed any increase in fuel consumption compared to Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse or if there is it's very marginal.

Brilliant tyre during winter, sure footed in snow, no problems coping with several inches, but not quite as good as a dedicated winter tyre (NOKIAN WRC Van) on ice. During spring performance was good handling water well as well as the odd muddy field well. Summer is another season and my initial reactions are good. Overall I would rate this tyre's performance as excellent for grip in all situations, braking, aquaplaning and noise. How they measure up for wear time will only tell.

Excellent grip, even in snow on my 4x4, rolling resistance is great, I find I am braking much earlier than before because the car doesn't lose momentum, quieter than the o.e. tyres originally fitted. I am impressed.
