Comment:
The Nokian WR A4 winter tyre is a superb tyre and certainly underestimated in the tyre world. The grip is excellent in both the dry and the wet and unbelievable in the snow! I had so much fun when we had the heavy snow and the car drove like it was in the dry. It also very quiet compared to the other winter tyres I have owned and is very good value for money; I can’t rate this tyre highly enough.

Excellent performance driving on both motorways on way to the mountains and faultless, confidence-inspiring grip on both snowy and icy roads whilst here! Thoroughly recommend and will buy again but not for a while as even after lots of miles there is still a lot of tread 6mm+ on the tyres! Altogether excellent! Thank you.

I drive mainly for business, but I also have a family. I have used winter tyres many times in the past, as I also drive on the continent where in some regions they are compulsory. I found that the Nokian tyres gave a higher level of grip, feedback and confidence than I had been expecting. It was nothing dramatic, as dramatic driving doesn't work in icy or snowy conditions, but the level of grip just let you get on with keeping the car going and getting to where you needed to be safely, and with no fuss. I also found the level of wear to be very little on the tyres when I recently took them off for storage for next year (and the next, and the next). They tyres are quiet and refined in all conditions and I noticed no difference in general fuel consumption.
